Unable to get my "Hey Google" to work when screen is off Galaxy A13 5G

I cannot get my hey Google to work when the screen is off. It works perfectly fine when the screen is on but when the screen is off it will not work I turned on every setting they told me to and it still does not work hey goggle when screen is off can someone please help me. It's for my hourly pop pop and in case of emergency that can save his life so it's really important to get it working. Please somebody help thanks.

Have you calibrated your voice? Then you must make sure battery saver is not allowed to put voice to sleep. Most importantly you must tuen on google/ Gemini on lock screen.
