After updating to android 14, the headphone button no longer does anything. I use this everyday and trying to find a solution. But like a big bug... any fix for this? Or need to return this phone.
I found Button Mapper works to remap the headphone button to skip and pause with a lot of free settings to fine tune it. Works fine until the screen is off a little while. Then nothing. You have to connect to a computer to run a command everytime you reboot so it will work with the screen off. I still have to try that. But until they fix the issue or you use Bluetooth which most everyone does now, they sound like **bleep** compared to wired especially usb c... plus you don't have to recharge them.
Who else is experiencing this issue? Worked fine before the 14 os update. I submitted a bug report to samsung.
