Transformers 2 was recorded here for some scenes.

Nice picture. It's so large they used little buses or trolley car's to get workers from the gate to their work place.

There was a train car along the front to transport. Walking is only about 5 minutes across.

It me 30 minutes or so to drive around it. They had trolleys as well.

I worked at Pacific States Steel for a summer, started out at minimum wage and got into piece work where the money is, someone I went to school with got in too at minimum wage too and made some serious cash, lol.

My mother's brother was the general manager of maintenance although that had nothing to do with my hiring, Joe Eastwood the owner told the security guard at the gate to hire a few people at the gate at minimum wage.
