I just updated my phone over the Monday (5/26) to the new UI7 update and now my phone won't charge or power on; I woke up Tuesday to the phone not taking any charge via my wireless charger, USB C plugged into a power brick or USB C plugged into my computer. I left my phone plugged in for 60 minutes with no indication that the battery was charging up.

I went on-site to an Asurion authorized repair shop and they looked at my phone for a minute in the back and said that the UI update bricked my phone (they think the mobo was fried).

I've been trying to get help but chat support will only state that I have to pay for the repair because my phone is older than one year even though I had zero issues until immediately after this UI update. The reps said that even if it's determined that the Samsung UI update bricked my phone I will still have to pay for the repairs on a phone that was working perfectly before this update.
