How to factory reset phone with black screen

My flip 4 has a black screen now. I want to trade it in, but I want to remove my data.

I would think you could use dex to backup/copy everything manually, then reset it.

I do not know what dex is. The information is already in my new phone. I was wondering if there was a way to wipe clean all my personal information since the old one has a black/broken screen so I can send it in for a credit towards this new phone.
