Z Fold 4 Fast charging issues

Recently just got a Z Fold 4, when I plug my phone in to charge it doesn't fast charge whatsoever. It'll say fast charging for 2 seconds and then it will revert back to just regular charging, doesn't matter what cable or charger I use it's all the same, anyone else have this issue?

I see the same thing on my Fold 4. I believe it first shows you that it is fast charging, but then defaults back to show charging percentage. I turned off fast charging in settings and charge time has increased by 40 minutes. It seems that system is working and charging fast.

Same here,shows charging fast and then just charging.

Is the smart charging on? I know on my Tab S7 tablet, with the smart charging, it will regulate the speed more in order to prolong the life of the battery, and it actually limits it to only 85% charge cap

I also am having the same problem. Fold 2 is fast charging but fold 4 isn't with same cable and brick. Both brand new??

Iam assuming it's a bug.Cause I watch reviews on YouTube and when they fast charge,they phone do the same.They just didn't notice it but I seen it .

After several days of personal use and testing with my first foldable galaxy phone, The Galaxy Z Fold 4 has been a great experience for me and arguably the best foldable phone on the market. I'll get right to point.

Pros

1.Super multitasking at its finest/flex mode.

2.Outer/Inner displays are visually pleasing and super bright indoors/outdoors.

3.S Pen/S Pen Pro features for inner display (Optional for users)

4.Great/better battery life compared to my Galaxy S22 Ultra/S22.

5.Android 12L One UI 4.1.1 is a featured packed OS.

6.Better Sounding Stereo Speakers compared to the hollow sounding S22 Ultra.

7.Galaxy S22 Plus Camera system with slightly more refinements with 30x zoom (S22 Ultra is only slightly better)

8.4 years of OS Updates and 5 years of security patches.

Cons

1.25w fast charging not the best.

2.no S-Pen functionality for outer display.

3.Outer display is only 6.2 inches narrow 

(Should be 6.4 inches wide).

4.No dust resistance yet but water resistant will do.

5.No pre-installed screen protector on the outer display.

If you have a fold 3 don't upgrade unless you need the latest and greatest, otherwise you got the same phone.

4 years of OS Updates (Android 16) and 5 years security patches.
