My lock screen will randomly activate while in use. I'll tap something and it will go straight to the lock screen. I unlock and all is well. Anyone having an issue like this? It's not a screen timeout issue.

Not helpful. Screen timeout is set to 1 minute. Also set to stay on while looking. This happens when I'm actively using the phone. I will press something and it will go to lock screen. I've even had it happen multiple times in a row.

@S_Wolf, thank you for your prompt response. The next step I recommend is booting your Galaxy Z Flip5 into Safe Mode. This can help determine whether a third-party app is affecting your screen timeout settings or other system behaviors.
To boot into Safe Mode on the Galaxy Z Flip5:

Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the Power menu appears.
Tap and hold Power Off until the Safe Mode option appears.
Tap Safe Mode to restart the device.
Once the phone restarts, you’ll see “Safe Mode” displayed in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

While in Safe Mode, test the screen timeout settings. If the issue does not occur, it’s likely caused by a third-party app. You can then begin uninstalling recently installed apps to identify the one responsible.

I can try it, but the issue is sporadic. No way to tell when it will happen or what caused it...

Updated to one Ui 8 and the issue seems to have disappeared
