I need to send back my replaced Zflip 4 but the big screen doesn't work, can I do a factory reset from the front screen?

Hello, Welcome to the Community. We understand wanting to wipe the data before returning the phone.

You can use the SmartThings Find features to wipe the data from the phone. Here is a link with additional information: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083982/

The phone will need to be powered on. Here is the link to the website: https://smartthingsfind.samsung.com/

it is only showing new phone so I am assuming I need to put the sim card back in it.

Thank you for following up. The following requirements are necessary for the SmartThings Find app to work:

  • The phone or tablet must be turned on. If the device is powered off, only the last known location will be available.

  • The device must be connected to a stable network connection.

  • Samsung account must be added to your device.

  • Remote controls must be enabled on the device. This feature will be turned on by default when you add a Samsung account to your device.

     

    You can also try Google's Find My Device
