"Add to home screen" not an option

I downloaded two mobile games and wanted to add them to my home screen but when I went and looked for them, they weren't in the app gallery or my home screen. I did figure out I can still find them in the search but when I go to hold them down for the option "add to home screen" its not an option. what do I do?

Your games were probably automatically added to Gaming Hub (formerly Game Launcher). This can be convenient if you're used to it, but a real pain if you're not. The icon looks like the screenshot.

To turn it off, go to Settings > Advanced features > Gaming Hub and toggle it off.
