Samsung bud pro 3 mic not working with whatapp call

I just purchased the pro bud 3

It works fine on a fone call the mic

However on snap or WhatsApp I have to hold the phone call.and use the phones mic as the built in mic in the ear buds don't work. 

I've given permission to the app, all updated software.
