Blocking message

I to text someone and got a message back saying "message blocking active" and im not being blocked by the person im.trying to reach. Where in my settings can I go to check this issue? Thanks

Check these places:

1. Phone app →: → Settings → Blocked numbers

2. Messages app →: → Settings → Spam / Blocked

3. Toggle Airplane mode ON 30 sec → OFF

4. If it still says "Message blocking active" → it's carrier-side, not the contact

That would be phone blocking not messages in call settings

It could be the user turned off a setting with their phone carrier. Do you have an alternative method to contact them to ask them to contact their carrier? This happened twice to me and the people said 1) they didn't pay their bill, and another time 2) it was a setting they accidentally turned on or off in their carrier app settings.
The recipient may have turned on a setting I'm their carrier app :
Block chargeable text & picture messages"
Make sure that it is turned off for you as well as them.

Thanks for the info. It was something in carrier's setting that was accidentally turned on. All fixed
