Why is Samsung getting rid of their messages for Googles? ๐Ÿ˜ญ I will miss the personalization. June or July, it's saying all of my messages will be converted to Google Messages.

Waiting for the messages to import is what needed to happen. Signing in to Google and syncing with all devices doesn't speed anything up.

You should wait. Depending on how many messages you have to import, it will take time for Google Messages to re-index everything, possibly a few hours or longer.

If you are one of those that have years worth of text messages it can take a couple of days to index all of them. This is normal.

I had one person tell me that had over 100k texts, took about 4days.

100,000 texts?  How would they know if any were missing?  It can also take a long time if many of those texts had images.

I continually purge the nonsense and minutia texts from my chats (I keep the chats alive because the notification tone is associated with the conversation, not the user).  Any chat not active in 6 months gets archived if there's anything important in it, otherwise it's gone. Why would anyone need every text they ever sent or received?
