Galaxy Note PhonesDid you actually download G-Board? It is not natively installed on the phone. Once you download any alternative keyboard, it will show up in the keyboard list for you to select.

Galaxy Note PhonesHave you tried going into the G-Board settings on your phone? Long press the app icon and click on the little circled "i" on the upper right.
If it downloaded and installed properly it should show up in your keyboard list. Should look like this:
and, if it's in the list, you have to make sure the slider is on to activate it. Then you can click on where it says "default keyboard" and switch it to G-Board.
If that doesn't work, perhaps uninstall it, reboot your phone and then reinstall it.

Galaxy Note PhonesWhat happens if you put the keyboard button on the nav bar? If you press it does it come up with both keyboards? I'm afraid your only other options would be to try a factory reset and restore your backup or stick with Samsung keyboard, or download another keyboard such as swiftkey, which I hear some other users like. See if any other keyboard shows up in the list, you don't have to use it if you don't like it.

Galaxy Note PhonesChoose input method, it offers either Google voice typing or samsung keyboard. At the bottom it says show keyboard button. That's it. I guess I'm going to have to contact Samsung & google to get this resolved. Thank you for all your input.
