I have two Galaxy Note 9 phones one for myself and one for my wife. my phone will back up just fine using the Samsung SSD but when I try to backup my wife's phone to the SSD it's like it will not recognize the SSD and says there's not enough space even though there's 1.5 TB of free space. Also her software layout for the backup section looks different than on mine even though I have checked for updates and updated everything and it says the phone is up to date. any ideas why one phone will not back up to the SSD? I can transfer files to the SSD so the phone is recognizing it but as far as the backup goes every time I try, it says there's not enough space
Hmm. I'm not sure Eva actually but I can tell you that I have external micro storage and even though I move stuff like large files and whatnot, it still shows them taking up the internal space. I've done a lot of Google'ing and liked on forums l like Reddit what I've basically found is nothing really copies/ moves ALL the way over no matter what we do, and that includes clouds storage too (which i also sync). I have no clue why or how to fix this but it is not fair and it drives me crazy. It seems to be a common nuisance with the Notes. If you figure out a solution, please let me know!
