Galaxy RingAs I understand it the ring, like the watch, can track water activities like swimming. Even the watch instructions say don't wear it in the shower as soap may damage the sensors. So, water is OK, soap is not.

Galaxy RingI have been showering, shampooing, handwashing etc. with the Ring for at least a couple of months now with no issues. I do the same occassionally with my Garmin watch to keep it clean. Never had a problem. I do take the ring off for applying lotion or dishwashing when handling greasy items.
