Titanium black galaxy ring.

One week old and the black is wearing off the edges. Is it titanium or is it painted?

It is titanium with a powder coating

Would think it would be a little more durable. The scratches are on the front not the back.

Titanium doesn't hold color well. Mine has notable color scuffing on the bottom part of the ring, but the titanium itself is undamaged.

Definitely an issue. My solution was to get the silicone covers for the ring. Protects and you can change colors whenever you want.
