Galaxy S9 touchscreen no longer works, passcode-locked, need to recover data

Galaxy S Phones

I quite stupidly decided to take my refurbished Galaxy S9 everywhere without a case and not make frequent backups, and dropped it quite a few times over the course of its life. The touchscreen has stopped working (the actual screen mostly works but it doesn't detect any touch at all). I don't really care about the phone, but there are some photos, notes, browser data, and other files that I'd like to keep if possible.

I can't just retrieve the files by plugging the phone into my PC, since I have to input my passcode and tap a prompt to grant permission to share files. Is there a way to do this without the touchscreen, either from the PC or with buttons only? I tried booting into safe mode and downloads mode, but safe mode didn't help, and while downloads mode works with only buttons, I'm not sure if it's possible to extract my files from there. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for any advice you may have

You could just replace the glass screen. You could order one online and do it yourself if you're skillful or bring the phone to a place that does repairs for Samsung.

Buy a USB OTG adapter and plug in a USB mouse. Yes it's stupid but it actually works
