If samsung wants to push for google messages and make everything google, might as well take out samsung pass, and everything that has the name samsung to it. No RCS chat, and they can store all your messages in google data.

Google is 100% better in my opinion since I only use it for messaging others will say Samsung Messages is better because you can change the background.

if you want to only message and you don’t care about customization use Google Messages

I think that the reason Samsung is pushing Google Messages is because it supports RCS messaging which is encrypted whereas Samsung messages only supports SMS which is not encrypted.
