Galaxy S PhonesHi,
I attached a 128GB Micro SD card on my Galaxy S20 phone in order to expand the memory. It is mainly used for saving media files, such as photos, videos, music and documents. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted dozens of files from it. I checked the trash folder and the deleted files on not there.
Does anyone know an effective way to recover deleted files from SD card from Samsung Galaxy phones? Hope someone could help on this.
Thanks

Galaxy S PhonesLosing files from your SD card can be a real bummer, especially if you didn’t have them backed up. If you’ve deleted files from your SD card, avoid using it until you try recovery. Any new data could overwrite what's still recoverable, making recovery harder or impossible. Safely eject the SD card from your Galaxy S20 and insert it into your computer using a card reader. If your computer has a built-in slot, that works fine too. And choose a recovery software to scan it for recovering deleted files from SD card on Samsung.
Once the scan is complete, you should see a list of recoverable files. Preview them if the software allows it, select the files you want to recover, and save them to a location on your computer. IMPORTANT: Don’t save the recovered files back to the SD card immediately, as it may overwrite other data.

Galaxy S PhonesConnect the SD card to a computer and try some SD data recovery software to see if the deleted files could be retrieved.
If data is lost due to deletion (accidental or intentional), formatting, or corruption, recovery software is generally more effective to recover deleted files from SD card from Samsung Galaxy phones . However, if the data has been overwritten, recovery becomes significantly more challenging, and the chances of retrieval diminish.
However, there are numerous SD card data recovery solutions available, ranging from free to paid options. Well-reputed software often has higher success rates because they utilize advanced algorithms to scan for recoverable files.

Galaxy S PhonesWhen recovering data from an SD card, there are several things you should pay attention to ensure the best possible results.
Handle the SD card with care: Avoid touching or handling the SD card excessively, as the oils from your skin can damage the card and reduce the chances of successful data recovery.
Use a reputable data recovery software: Choose a data recovery software that is designed for SD cards and has a good reputation for successfully recovering data.
Scan slowly and thoroughly: When scanning the SD card for deleted files, take your time and scan slowly to ensure that you don't miss any recoverable data.
Avoid overwriting or deleting files: Be cautious when recovering files, as overwriting or deleting them can permanently destroy any remaining recoverable data.
By following these guidelines, you can increase the chances of successfully recovering deleted files from an SD card for Samsung phones and minimizing any potential damage.
