Is Samsung going to allow turning off 2G access

OK, this might have been covered before haven't checked. But here goes:

Does Samsung have ANY plan to allow turning off 2G access in their phones?

Being 2G is fast becoming a serious attack vector.

It depends on your carrier some carriers like Spectrum/Verizon (Spectrum uses Verizon towers and some software) Verizon doesn't allow you to change Mobile Data Settings which I hate because 5g is still kind of spotty in places and if the phone picks up a 5g signal it will connect even if it doesn't work so then you can't browse anything and can't manually switch to 4g/LTE

I use a carrier that uses the T-Mobile network.

Well, got August update. Still no option to disable 2G. 🤬 😔
