Galaxy S PhonesI purchased a factory unlocked S20+5G (SM-G986U1). IMEI check confirms a Model Code of SM-G986UZAAXAA. However, when I check About Phone > Status it shows a Model Code of SM-G986UZAATMB. My carrier is T-Mobile, but how would that change the model code of the phone (from XAA to TMB)???? Or is something fishy with the phone?

Galaxy S Phones
There is absolutely nothing to worry about. The only letters/numbers that matter for your model number end with 'U." The rest is carrier/unlock status and country information. TMB=T-Mobile.
