No More Public Beta Programs

Samsung please don't do anymore public beta programs from this point on moving forward. Please focus on stable OS software and security patches that don't break things like battery life, speed, performance stuff like that. Never in my life I have seen so many people complain about not being able to test unfinished software that may ruin their phones and it's really disturbing. Please test everything internally and get it right the first time before public release. I see why this was limited only to certain S24 series phones. Less self entitled complainers the better. January is right around the corner so I'll wait until the next unpacked.

I feel your pain.

Perhaps they just need a seperate forum here that we can filter out.

Things can be tested internally, but without the real world testing by users, it would be harder to work out all the bugs and a stable release would be impossible. No one is forced to participate in a beta and the only whining I see is from those who can't participate and think they are so special that their request to join is different than anyone else's and have to create their own posts. I think anyone who participates in a beta on their primary device is just asking for trouble, but not to have real world testing isn't the answer.

People don't even know what it's about crying about not getting in is crazy or do no research and asking the same questions over again that has been answered multiple times

Isn't that the definition on insanity? To do something over and over again, expecting a different result.

The fast majority of questions that are asked here either lack any real information (or sentence structure, for that matter) to enable any assistance, while the other half could have been easily answer by a browser search or a trip to the YouTube.

However, for me, helping someone that needs assistance with the device or issue, is gold. I love it here, for that.

Betas need to be public because users will do things that cannot be replicated in a lab, or maybe not even considered in the first place. That said, there should be a pinned thread with information about it at the top of the forum and asking about the beta should result in an automatic 24 hour ban.

I agree, but the problem with that, is most people skip the banner and announcements section (unless they are looking for the beta), and they don't even do a quick scan of the topics on the front page, you expect them to read a pinned post?  A recent scan of the entry page to the community saw no less than seven consecutive posts asking about the beta. Of course, they might read it if the post was blocked in red, was flashing and said ONEUI 7 BETA. They might be tempted to click it, thinking it was the invitation.

Love this!
There is a pinned notice on the Beta community for those who decide to switch carriers during the Beta that they might not get future Beta drops.

Yet there are so many posts now ftom people who switched carriers during the test (why???) about an error message and not being able to access the beta.
