Lately there have been people listening in on my phone calls, there is a clicking on the line.and sound goes way down

On my Note 20+, a year ago, I hit the call button and immediately heard what sounded like a person sitting in his/her office. The phone hadn't rung yet, and I could hear someone typing on a keyboard, drinking (presumably coffee) and listening in on my calls. I angrily said hello, and the person made a quick grunt, and the interaction ended.

That has happened to me many times. When my phone is just laying out near me, it all of a sudden turns on my phone. So obvious!!!! I have AT&T, now for over 20 yrs. Don't know if I should change my phone company to someone else. I need opinions on what phone carrier is the best for security. I appreciate any help from the audience 🙏🏻

Could be hardware issue my mom's phone would randomly have some call seems to happen when the phone was in her pocket
