Galaxy S Phones@PoorGuy The best way to take advantage of every feature of a Samsung device is by using a Samsung app. In house developers have the edge in app development by:
- having access to internal APIs not accessible to outside developers.
- having access directly to hardware developers to understand the capabilities and limitations of the hardware.
- highlighting new features which may be unknown by outside developers.

Galaxy S PhonesWith Google being so dominant across Android, I think the integration of apps would be served better.

Galaxy S Phones@PoorGuy Sorry but Samsung Messages is really a very poor case for your argument. RCS is not a phone feature, it is a cellular messaging network feature. Carriers have been moving to Google's RCS back office equipment and Google has made strides in getting Apple to the table on RCS. This move to a unified RCS around Google services means that it is inevitable that Samsung messages won't be able to compete.
