Hi!

I have searched to the ends of the internet, worked with my provider, verified my APN, worked with Samsung support and went to an authorized Samsung service center without any luck on resolving my issue. I am not receiving all of my texts when in a Group text - MMS. I will receive all of my texts, however, if I am in a one-to-one text message. I have factory reset my phone, ensured that the MMS auto download is on, the service center flashed the phone, and I have done all the things.

When I am in a group text, I will recieve some of the texts but then some of them will not download. The text will fall under the person who sent it and it will have the following:

No Subject

Message Size

Expires: date/time

<<download>>

When I click download, nothing happens!

At this point, I am ready to give up on Samsung. The service location could not resolve the issue and told me that I would have to send the phone into the service center without a temp being provided. Obviously, sending my phone in without a back up is not an option.

I have been having this issue for about two months now. It happens when I am on my mobile data only and wifi only. I am at my wits end with this phone and it is only a year old 😞

If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. This is my last ditch effort before I move (unhappily) away from Samsung and to an iPhone.

here it is-
go to settings
select connections
turn off wifi
also in connections select mobile networks
in mobile networks turn off mobile data.
do nothing for 1 minute
now turn on both mobile data and wifi
now restart your phone

be aware it worked immediately for my phone although I have had to do this process a couple of times. it continues to work.

I have done a full shut down, cleared the cache to the phone and the message app, factory reset the phone and had their service team flash the phone. Samsung has not given me any more troubleshooting assistance other than they want me to send them my phone (without a spare or temp phone). The support provided by Samsung has been pretty horrible. I have used Samsung for years and this may be my last one.
