Why do I get a delivery report when I text my partner and some days I don't and it's the same number?

Samsung Messages is a SMS/MMS with RCS, if your carrier supports it. Any delay in RCS devices, such as a delivery report, would lay with them, not Samsung. Please contact your carrier for assistance regarding this issue.
