Bluetooth speaker output unbalanced

Hi, here is my problem:

When I have my phone connected to the car sound system only the right speaker is playing sound. All attempts have been made to adjust on the car sound setting. When I turn the option all the way to the left speaker barly any sound can be heard. 

The car is new and was checked for errors or problems specifically for this problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this are much appreciated.

Have you tried a different device?

I would highly recommend trying to use another device to test if it's the phones settings or if it's your car.
