Call Recording button cannot be disabled in the Dialer/Phone app

Besides just hating all the ui changes (it wasn't broke so why "fix" it??), the addition of the record button to the dialer screen is INSANELY BAD AND THERE'S NO WAY TO DISABLE IT. I cannot use earbuds. I have to hold my phone to my ear. My only working ear. And it's CONSTANTLY triggering the record function. Purple are getting passed off (and I don't blame them). I know people in the legal & medical professions who are having their employment threatened because they're having the same issue. Not only was the icon NOT needed on the dial screen, to force it and not offer a way to disable it is absolute lunacy. Whoever did this UI update design should be FIRED. You need to make a kill switch for this stupid recording function NOW. 

The only "workaround" is to use a different dialer (I'm using phone by Google). But i SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. And this problem is not unique to S21 models, it affects EVERYONE and it's dreadful. FIX THIS.

I updated my phone S21 today and it now has "This call is being recorded" function that cannot be disabled or deleted. I have done an extensive online search for tutorials for how to disable it - but it's not possible!

Samsung - what on earth were you thinking???? This is completely absurd, horrible, a violation of privacy, inconvenient, disruptive, ridiculous and unacceptable. NOT ok. 

Samsung, you need to URGENTLY provide a new update with an OPT-IN version of this feature and the ability to disable it.

I'm sorry you dislike the feature, but many users requested a built-in call recording function. The phone will only record calls if you manually press the record button.

The call record button has to be manually turned on to activate it.

The recordings are saved on device, it is not an invasion of your privacy.

If you are one of those shoulder to your face holder while on the phone, you might need to download Phone By Google.

I love it. When someone selling something calls it tends to scare them off.

If you swip up it puts it up on the now bar at the top. So you won't hit the activate button by accident. Another option is use Google Phone app and make it the default.
