Call Recording button cannot be disabled in the Dialer/Phone app

Besides just hating all the ui changes (it wasn't broke so why "fix" it??), the addition of the record button to the dialer screen is INSANELY BAD AND THERE'S NO WAY TO DISABLE IT. I cannot use earbuds. I have to hold my phone to my ear. My only working ear. And it's CONSTANTLY triggering the record function. Purple are getting passed off (and I don't blame them). I know people in the legal & medical professions who are having their employment threatened because they're having the same issue. Not only was the icon NOT needed on the dial screen, to force it and not offer a way to disable it is absolute lunacy. Whoever did this UI update design should be FIRED. You need to make a kill switch for this stupid recording function NOW. 

The only "workaround" is to use a different dialer (I'm using phone by Google). But i SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. And this problem is not unique to S21 models, it affects EVERYONE and it's dreadful. FIX THIS.

Even if it offers call recording, I can assure you the recording control is not located out in the middle of nowhere.  It is situated on the phone pad,  between video call and add a call.  Expand and view the images of the app.  You are not likely to hit the recorder by accident.

I just tested it for incoming and out going calls. There is no record button

Goto phone dial settings top right ofvdialer and should see option on recorded calls

I've got the same problem. I see no place to turn this off. I went to the menu you showed, and explored every option. No matter what I do, if I get a call, it sends the warning about being recorded. This is seriously irritating.

There's just no toggle for it. I think there used to be, but it got taken away in one of the recent updates (S24)

In the US you cannot disable the icon. In other jurisdictions there is a slider in setting to turn off and disable the recording icon on the dialer.

The Google dialer does offer recording but has a control to disable it. And there is no icon on the screen during a call that can inadvertently be hit to trigger recording unintentionally.

Other than the **bleep**ty recording icon I prefer the Samsung dialer. It is why I have kept my phone and have not switched to something else. But now it is broken.... so it is probably time to go. Too bad. Samsung **bleep**ed up a perfectly good phone for absolutely no reason. I agree with the OP. Whoever did this should be fired.

A dialer is a dialer. Sans the recorder, there is no reason to prefer one over the other. They all dial calls the same way. Giving up a device you otherwise like for something so irrelevant is inane. But, go on. No one is forcing you to stay.

Not true. The Samsung dialer has a diffetent layout than Google's, and if you switch you will need to reprogram your speed dial numbers all over again. Contacts do not format the same. Options are in different locations. I have become accustomed to the native Samsung One UI dialer. I do not care for Google's. Others I have tried have ads or in-app purchases or are just not reliable. As I have said, IN MY PERSONAL OPINION. the changes to tbe native dialer that added the call recording icon that cannot be diabled was a major error on Samsung's part. One that will lead to some costly class action litigation for tbe company due to the several issues noted in this thread by myself and others. If the icon doesn't bother you, well great. But it has ruined a perfectly good phone for me.

So switch phones. You'll still have to reprogram your speed dials. Really? People still use speed dial? Calling direct from your contact list eliminates that. All dialets dial your phone snd a phone's keypad layout is standard. But, suit yourself. BTW, good luck getting someone to take your class action suit.
