Camera Photos missing after upgrade

Post Samsung S21 upgrade 18 Dec 23 In Gallery app, there is no 'Camera' file. In 'my files' the DCIM file has no images.

that doesn't sound good. have you checked the Trash in the Gallery app and in the My Files app?

Thank you. Yes no camera file in gallery app, DCIM file 0 images. Missing photo images not in recycle bin.

did you happen to backup your photos to Google Drive or OneDrive?

have you looked in Recents in My Files? see anything there?

I'm having a similar issue with my S10+ phone. Most of my pics & videos are blank! 😡
