Can S21+ react to text messages?

Hey all, I see that some androids can now add a reaction to text messages. I have a Samsung S21+, is this something this phone can do?

Using Google Messages you can use emojis if you Long Hold a text, just like iphone! 👍

Textra app has been able to do this for quite a while... few years at least. Only reason I'm moving away from Textra is cuz I just got a galaxy watch and apparently textra isn't compatible with it 🫤. Found this post when looking to see if Messages could do reactions...I was quite surprised to find out it can't 🤦‍:male_sign:
