Can't send pics via text

My phone suddenly will not send pics within text messages. I tried doing fixes from Google, but none are relevant to my phone. I've tried restarting and can't fix the issue.

What happens when you try to send a Pic are you not getting the icon to attach pucs

It just says "couldn't send file. Retry." I was trying to send my husband a screenshot of a website page.

Sounds like the cache might need cleared in apps goto message than storage

I have the same problem and can't send pictures or gif since the last update on my phone.. I was hoping to find out how to fix it here

I updated my phone a few days ago, and my problem started last night after I had already sent a few pics to my husband and sister in law.

Did you do anything to fix it, or did it start working alone?

I'm calling my provider and asking about the issue. Nothing online or even customer service chat on my phone was remotely helpful.
