I am annoyed at how long a Samsung pop up lingers on the screen when I make a change.....or, change wallpaper, then a small gray pop- up appears stating that I changed the wallpaper.....these are annoying and do not leave quickly...... besides I do not need to be told what I just did.....any way to stop these?...I have the s21 ultra.

I believe you're talking about toast messages. I don't think there is a way to disable those but they don't linger on screen for long either. May be try rebooting or toggle the time to 10 second and then back to default. This should be under accessibility and advanced settings.

Hmmm. For grins, I switched my wallpaper ... no pop-up notification here.

Well, I am not lying 🤥....... lol..... wallpaper was used as an example......I get these pop-ups for any and every change I make to my phone......there has to be a way to at least alter the length of time they stay on screen if we can't remove them all together... Anyway, not sure.....but my old s9 had these too, but they were quick and gone fast. 😐

Never implied you're fibbing ... I'm just providing feedback how mine works.

Are you running A12 UI 4, or are you on A11 UI 3.x ?

yes, when I change my wallpaper (which is rare) I get the same popup as you do, and I'm on A12 UI4. IMO, Samsung probably does this for the multitude of purely basic users. It's annoying, to a degree, but not a deal-breaker for me.
