FYI... After installing the December 1, 2024 security software I noticed the Google Messenges app would not work and listed something like.. error, install a working sim card. Also, no incoming or outgoing calls could be made.
I rebooted the phone a few times and the error persisted. I then restarted again, but I first wiped cache partition using the boot menu.
