I would like to turn off Multi Window / Split screen for all apps but have not been able to find a way. The "Multi window for all apps" toggle is off but apps will still open in split screen view. All the toggles under "Multi window" are also off.

When I open a new app I would like the previous to close and open the new one in full screen.

How do I prevent apps from opening in spit screen?

I am using Samsung Galaxy S21FE with android 14 and One UI 6.1

Go to settings, tap magnifying glass and search for multi window. This will show you couple of spots where you can check.

As you can see from screen shot all toggles are off and still apps open in split screen. There must be some other setting that I cannot find.

No solution available at the moment, nothing works. The split screen must be hard coded into android 14 and cannot be turned off.
