How to change the sound of notifications for text messages on my S21?

Okay. I did this one time but can't remember it. I want to change the sound on my text messages on my S21. Can someone explain to me step by step on how to change it. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Go to settings then sound and vibrations then click on notifications

Open Settings app

Tap Apps

Tap Messages

Tap Notifications

Tap Notification Categories

Choose a category to change , but tap on the LEFT SIDE of the category name ... that will show the "details" so you can customize the sound
