My phone updated overnight and this morning would not accept my screen lock PIN. I tried many different things and even went to Verizon and Best Buy Geek Squad. In the end I had to do a factory reset and lost everything. Now all my screens are different and I wanted to see if there was a way to get back to my previous format.
You should be able to get everything back by restoring your backup. Even if you don't have a Samsung backup, you have a Google one. I think Google only restores, though, if you click the option upon restarting your phone after the reset. If you have a Samsung backup, go to accounts and backup and restore your last backup. Which actually should have occurred right before the reset.
