I had to do a backup, factory reset and data restore after issues with a SIM card replacement. In the process, I've lost all pictures on my camera. I no longer have access to the back up. I thought all pictures were synched with Google photos, but they weren't. At this point, I'm desperate as this includes all pictures taken over the past year - my youngest child's senior year. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Not sure a reset was needed for a Sim card but as for the photos etc if they weren't backed up yo cloud or other methods than there is not much chance to recover them
Did you try going into device settings > accounts & backup to restore? If you had samsung gallery backing up to onedrive, you could restore the pictures. Have you signed in to your Google account to check photos & drive? If you thought they synced, the files should be there.
