One ui 4.1 update on s21 ultra causes home button and back button to not work

Well I recently updated to one ui 4.1 and I cannot use the home or back button. It was working perfectly fine before the update.

Hi mrsKreed ... any luck in getting your issue resolved?   My phone also got jacked-up from this update!  Also amazing in this day and age someone does know what "jacked means" or doesn't know how to find out.  

I tried what Calder-Cay suggesyed, and I get the Home button to work with the swipe, but not via button.  

I suppose if no solution then I may have to revert back to Android 11.

But you haven't been able to get the button part of it to work? The swipe is not a long term solution for me. Looking into getting rid of Android 12 and reverting back to 11.

Hi mrsKreed, hope you're doing well.  I ended up resolving my issue.  I decided that my Android 12 update did not install properly, hence the sporadic issues I was having.  So, I ended up wiping my phone and restoring it back to factory settings.  A painful route to take, but then the update ended up installing properly.  Took a while for all my apps and settings to load back up, and then of course having to log back into ALL the apps as well.  Best to do this like over a weekend or whenever you would need your phone least.  There were some things to gain from the whole process, but more importantly, everything is functioning as it should.  Hope this helps if you haven't done this already.  Cheers

Troubleshooting steps:

Settings> Apps> Mobile Services Manager> Storage> clear cache and clear data
