Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with my new S21 5G . It randomly shuts down and restarts after about 10 minutes, then prompts me to update software in settings. I purchased it this week and I'm concerned. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Could it be a hardware or software issue?
Could be overheating. When the phone overheats, it shuts down to protect itself and stays shut down till it cools off enough to be powered on. Keeping up with optimization helps prevent this. Also download Good Guardians and the thermal guardian and app booster modules from the galaxy store. Thermal guardian will help you determine when and what is causing your phone to overheat, and app booster will help performance - it's essentially a defragmenter for phones. You should tirn on auto optimization in device care and set it to restart at least once a week.
