Please help... how do I get rid of Google Messages? A pop up came on saying I needed to update my messages and when I did, Google message became the default and my Samsung Messages app is gone! I can't access it automatically & the app & icon disappeared off my phone. I have to go into my phone settings, then apps, then look for the samsung messages. It's listed as my default yet it will not show up on my phone. I un-installed Google Messages but I still can't restore my default Samsung Messages.
Yes, same here. I can see my messages, but I can't get my app back on my home screen. I don't know how to restore it to get the app shortcut on my homescreen.
Yes but it's weird now... once I updated & Google Message took over, I can only see my Samsung Messages if I go into my phones settings & then into App settings. Samsung message shows up, and says it's default app, but it won't open & there's no app icon for me to install on my home screen. I uninstall Google Message. But I can't restore Samsung Messages.
