Data points reported for walking, (and running, I assume),used to include 
1. Elapsed time 
2. Current speed 
3. Average speed 
4. Elevation (optional) 
5. Estimated time to completion. 

The current format of only 3 data points isn't enough to help to consistently adjust your pace.
