Security patch July 1, 2023

So I've been patiently waiting for ONE UI 6 to be available for my phone. Under the "Security and privacy" settings, it even TELLS me to update. However, there is no update available. Is this normal? Never happened on any other Samsung I've ever owned.

@Ronanklan Is your phone a carrier phone? Did you by chance get it unlocked and move to another carrier?

Yes I bought it renewed on Amazon & turns out it was originally a T-Mobile carrier phone that's been unlocked. The carrier I use is Metro by T-Mobile. Lol

@Ronanklan Since your phone is running T-mobile firmware, it is looking for an update to that firmware. If Metro has different update servers than T-Mobile, the update won't be there. 

If you have a T-Mobile SIM (active or not), you can temporarily install it in your phone. The phone will read the T-Mobile update servers info from the SIM. Then you can use Wifi to check for an update.
