Galaxy S21
When switching (sim) to an (esim) you need to select which sim you use within the (Call & Text on other devices) settings it's not listed in any instructions and Samsung will not tell you you can do this, infact told me I need a physical sim to use it.
Good news the fix is just change it from the original physical (sim) to (esim) in the settings of the "feature Call & text". And it should be functional again.

It's as simple as changing the (sim) to the (esim) in the given settings. I hope that fixes anyone's problems if you find this result.

Thanks for sharing. This just shows that the support chat seems to have a history of just saying the feature is not supported just to end a conversation. Other examples such as when they say custom notification sounds are no longer a feature which is also wrong.
