Video files on Galaxy S21 seem larger

I just recorded two videos on my new phone. The mp4 files are considerably larger than similar videos I created on my S10 phone. Is there a setting I am missing?

What are the current settings and are they the same as the s10 were?

the only difference I see is that the S21 has a higher resolution setting as the default.

That would be due to higher resolution of the S21

thank you. I think that's the answer. do you know if I can opt for a lower resolution for certain videos that don't need to be at the higher level?

Tap the icon I've highlighted in the screenshot

EDIT: be sure you're in a "video" mode
