Galaxy S22Hi,
My phone S22+ dual SIM 2023, is apparently compatible to ESim. So, I purchased one. However, the option to add an ESim does not show in Sim Manager. And if I scan the QR code, I receive the message that I do not have an app to support the function.
Is it possible to fix this?
Thanks,
Tai

Galaxy S22Sorry,
- no 'add ESim'
- no 'add mobile plan'
- no 'scan QR code'
Thanks, Andrea

Galaxy S22Thanks ever so much for trying to help..
No, I am not in the US yet.
I have just been back to the store where I bought this phone.
I learned that ESim compatibility does not depend on the phone model that one has got but on the region for which it was created. Apparently mine was created for a region that did not support ESims, so I have double SIM slots but no availability to use ESims.
And there is nothing that can be done about it.
So, that's it. Will have to buy a physical Sim card when I arrive in the US. š

Galaxy S22Thank you, but it was confirmed that my phone is not compatible for ESims. Thus, it cannot be activated.

Galaxy S22(Note that the eSIM carriers are not limited to those listed. Other eSIMs may work on a case-by-case basis.)
