Hey. I just notice that my home button didn't working after software upgrade on Samsung S22+. Is anyone facing this issue?

Hey there! I can absolutely understand needing your home button to work! Let's try some troubleshooting steps!

 

Try putting your device in safe mode to see if it is a third party app that may be messing with your settings. 

Press and hold the Power button until the Power off prompt appears, then release. Tap and hold Power off until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap Safe Mode. The Samsung Galaxy will reboot in Safe Mode, where you can test out the Home button.

 

If it is still unresponsive after trying it in safe mode the next thing that I would suggest is clearing the cache of your device by following these steps.

With the device off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys.
When the device turns on and logo displays, release both keys.
Use the Volume keys to highlight wipe cache partition, then press the Power key.
Continue using the Volume and Power keys to confirm your choice if prompted.

 

I would also back up the device and do a factory data reset just to see if something just needs a reset! 

Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap General management.
Swipe to and tap Reset, then tap Factory data reset, and then review the information.
When you're ready, swipe to and tap Reset.
If you have a security lock set, you will be asked to enter the credentials.

 

If you've tried all of these and your home button still is not working correctly the next option is to have a certified technician take a look at what's going on with it.
