Well I had the same problem

I fixed it. I changed it to Google voice text , and not use the Samsung voice text

First, are you actually using voice to text from your keyboard microphone?  If you are using the microphone in the text box, you are actually sending a voice message with transcription.  The duplication is probably the transcribed text.  You shouldn't get duplicated text if you use the keyboard microphone.

I am using the keyboard microphone I had been using it in the past, and that never happened before.

Glad you fixed it.  I forgot about the Google Voice switch.  I just take it for granted that Google Voice is in use.
