I shot a gorgeous shot on my phone, and I set it as my background to find out that dark mode makes it look dim and dull. I even popped out settings as a floating app and switched between light and dark mode, noticing a huge shift in wallpaper color and brightness, even though the phone brightness stayed the same. I remember Samsung used to have a setting for the dimming, but I do not see it anymore (S22U android 12 4.1oneUI)
