I updated my 22 ultra to the new One UI now I can't access my assistant with the corner swipe feature they LITERALLY just added not that long ago. Why change how a feature works if you're just going to keep taking the functionality away?! Sometimes I'm in a loud environment, I don't want to have to leave the room just to look something up.

Galaxy S22No it's not because if you select Assistant it doesn't function as before. It doesn't show results anymore and is only by audio. And that is the only area Gemini is actually.
I used Google assistant to start up apps and book meetings and send texts and all those was handled with less fuss by the old assistant.
Now the assistant mostly answers that it found something on the web, which it can't show because it doesn't appear on screen.

Galaxy S22https://support.google.com/gemini/answer/14579631?hl=en&hl=en&visit_id=638832351907678558-3048202310... explains a lot of it.
I've had gemini as my assistant app for a long while now and haven't needed to switch to assistant, so I guess I didn't really rely on assistant as much as some people did.
as for finding something on the web, gemini is great for this. it's answers are usually super super long so I always tell it to tell me in a short summary lol
